Registration Fees

Select age category based on your age as of December 31, 2017.

**The Youth Time Trial is included in the Youth Road Race registration, but participation in both events is not mandatory.

No registration on the day of the race for Youth Time Trial.

ALL events are capped. Register early to avoid disappointment.

Post-race food is included with all registration fees upon presentation of race number.

Those registered by the Early Bird deadline of  July 25th at midnight, will receive:

  • Technical T-shirts for adult participants
  • Cotton T-shirts for youth riders.

Online registration closes on August 3rd, 2017 at midnight.

Register on Race Weekend

Registration on race day is by cash or credit card only and is subject to late fees as stated above. No cheques or debit cards will be accepted. No registration on the day of the race for Youth Time Trial.

Event Rules

This is a unique Citizen’s Event and is subject to the Rules of the Organizers and the OCA.
  • All riders must go to registration in the Forge Pavilion at least 20 minutes before the start of their event. After sign in, proceed to            the designated start area.
  • All riders must proceed to the start line 10 minutes before their race time.
  • All riders (or parent/guardians) are required to sign the OCA and CCA waivers, unless they have an OCA issued license.
  • There will be an OCA licensed Commissary officiating at the event.
  • There will not be any team vehicles permitted on the course.
  • The race water station will be located on Heritage Road South.
  • It is the rider’s responsibility to have a mechanically sound bicycle for all races.
  • For the Elite Road Race all feed zone activity must take place on the right side of the road only. Feeding will only be permitted on          laps 6, 7, 8 and 9.  Neutral feed will not be provided.
  • Any rider dropping out of the race must notify a Commissary as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in a penalty.
  • As this is a Road Race, there will be no free laps for mishaps (e.g. crashes or punctures) Riders suffering mishaps can be serviced         from the support vehicles and must continue the race from the point of the mishap.
  • In the event of a mishap, riders are forbidden from drafting behind vehicles for lengthy periods in attempting to catch up. Such            drafting may result in disqualification.
  • Riders are not allowed to ride backwards on the course and must continue in the direction of the race or dismount their bike and        walk.
  • It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that their race numbers are readable. Riders whose numbers are unreadable at the finish          may not get a placing and may forfeit their prizes.
  • Riders who are dropped by the main bunch must proceed at their own risk and should always, when possible ride on the right              side of the road.
  • When the winner crosses the finish line in the 26 km race, the race will be over. The 26 km race time limit is 60 minutes.
  • When the winner crosses the finish line in the 52 km race,  the race will be over. The 52 km race has a time limit of 90 minutes.
  • When the winner crosses the finish line in the 104 km event, the race is over and lapped riders will cross the finish line and not            complete remaining laps.
  • The Age Group Category Results will be posted in the awards area on the grounds of the Terra Cotta Inn as soon as possible after          the race.
  • Awards will be presented shortly after the race finish.
  • Winning riders must appear in their race kit- jersey, shorts and no sun glasses- to collect prizes.
  • Top three finalists in each category are required to attend award presentations or risk forfeiting their awards and/or prizes.
  • Race numbers distributed at registration must be worn during the race.
  • Race numbers must be presented post-race to receive the provided meal.
  • Equipment Rules

    Your Race Number

    Your race number will be attached as per the picture to the right with the safety pins provided. The race number is yours to keep as a souvenir of the event.  Adults will be required to have this with them in order to receive their post-race meal in the concession area.

    Your Timing Chip

    Your Timing Chip along with instructions will be provided at registration on the day of the race.

    Parking Info & Spectator Info

    • Riders and spectators must park in the designated areas (highlighted in orange on the map below) and must not park along the          roadsides of the course, on or near, the race site.
    • Shuttle bus service will be available to transport spectators from parking to the Terra Cotta Inn
    • Primary parking (A) is available on King St. approaching Heritage Road, access is from Mississauga Road. Alternate parking areas          are: B, C, and D, illustrated on the Course Map below.
    • Participants and spectators may also park at Creditview P.S. located at King St and Mississauga Road and enjoy the use of the                Tour de Terra Cotta Courtesy Shuttle that will deliver people to the race course.
    • Spectators must stay off the road at ALL times and only cross with the assistance of a Marshall, for the both the safety of the                  spectators and participants.
    • Food for spectators will be available at a nominal cost during the race in the Concession area.
    • Refreshments will be available in the Beer Garden after the race.
    • Exhibitors (bike shops and other merchants) will be stationed in the awards area.
    • Police, marshalls and barricades will be stationed around the course to prevent traffic from entering the course. Escort vehicle              circulate the course to assist motorists in exiting the course.
